AF and cameras supplied to the Med

28.07.2009

The first Appetite Feeding system was installed in Greece this week, feeding 96,000 sea bass. Andromeda SA took delivery of the feeder and are very excited about the prospect of feeding their fish in a new way, thus giving them a much fuller understanding of how the fish behave.

The AF2000 FMS was installed on the site located at the edge of the Armvrakikos gulf, next to the town of Vonitsa. Being the first AF to be installed in this region, it will be closely supervised to see the true benefit to the industry in this region. The AF contract was joined on with the supply of mobile cameras (5 units) to the same company for both sites in Greece and in Spain, these additional units were bought after the initial unit proved a great success.
