Adaption of smolt provides significant improvement

Biomass Measurement of fish in large cages with low densities is a challenge.  Kurt Rønning at Lerøy Hydrotech Halsa has had very positive experiences with the adaption of smolt before they go into the sea.
”This is very good, we have been able to complete biomass measurements in the sea much more efficiently and accurately” says Kurt.

HatchMan in operation

The first four HatchMan remotely controlled hatch openers are now installed at one of Bolaks' feed barges. It is feed supplier EWOS who is the driving force to get this in place.
"With remote controlled hatch openers we can much more freely plan the logistics", says Erik Sørheim of EWOS.

AF and cameras supplied to the Med

The first Appetite Feeding system was installed in Greece this week, feeding 96,000 sea bass. Andromeda SA took delivery of the feeder and are very excited about the prospect of feeding their fish in a new way, thus giving them a much fuller understanding of how the fish behave.
